United 93

Hey guys, how has your week been so far?

I just finished watching United 93 with my mom and I think it is an amazing movie.

We've also just finished watching The DaVinci Code and the sequel, Angels & Demons. Both were very good!

For those of you that don't know, United Airlines Flight 93 was one of the planes hijacked on

September 11, 2001 along with three other flights, American Airlines Flight 11, United Airlines Flight

175 and American Airlines Flight 77.




Flights 11 and 175 crashed into the World Trade Center at 08:46:30 and 09:01 respectively.

Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon at 09:37:46.

United Airlines Flight 93 was possibly intended to crash into the United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C.

This movie centres around the passengers on United 93 and their decision to storm the cockpit after

hearing about how the other three hijacked planes were deliberately crashed, ultimately killing everyone

on board, including the hijackers.

However, although the flight never reached its target, the passengers were not able to pull the plane up

in time and United 93 crashed at 10:03:11 in Pennsylvania.

No one survived.




If you have the chance, try checking your local library for all three movies!

I would like to stress that this is NOT a documentary and there are speculations on what exactly

happened onboard the plane.
